F.A.Q.'s | Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I do not have money to hire an attorney to handle my personal injury / workers' compensation case or pay those expenses that typically arise in such cases, so how can you help me?
  • We handle all personal injury and workers' compensation matters on a "contingency" basis. This means that we do not charge any upfront fee on such cases and, instead only charge a fee if there is an award or recovery in the case. In this regard, our fee is ultimately a percentage of what we are able to recover for our clients either by settling out-of-court or winning at trial. Additionally, we will pay for the ordinary expenses of such a case (i.e. obtaining medical records and reports; hiring private investigators and liability experts; filing lawsuits; etc.). Only if there is an award or a settlement does the firm get reimbursed for these expenses. Essentially, our policy regarding our "contingency" arrangements and our fronting of expenses reflects our confidence in our ability to find success for our clients in their cases.

The benefit of a firm like ours is that we strive to keep our clients informed about the status of their matters and we provide them with significant access to our attorneys. As our client you will never feel like a mere "file number" !

  1. What are your rates in real estate matters and in criminal / municipal court matters?
